Candy Bar Pie (Randy Palmer)

Heat oven to 450. Make pie as directed on box for one crust pie in 9" glass pie pan
- 1 Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust, softened as directed on box
- 5 Snickers candy bars (2.7oz ea)
- 4 pkg (3oz ea)cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c sour cream
- 1/3 c creamy peanut butter
- 3 T whipping cream
- 2/3 c milk chocolate chips
German Potato Salad (Terry Suhre)

Boil Potatoes with peeling on
- 8 medium potatoes
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 5 slices of bacon, diced
- DRESSING
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup water (scant)
- 2 Tab cornstarch
- 1/2 cup butter
BREAD PUDDING WITH WHISKEY SAUCE (Steve Vandergriff)

SAUCE: 8 tbsp. butter (1 quarter pound stick), cut into 1/2" bits 1 c
- 2 2 2 tbsp. butter, softened
- 12 12 12 oz. loaf day old French or Italian type white bread
- 1 1 1 qt. milk
- 3 3 3 eggs
- 2 2 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 c. seedless raisins
- 2 2 2 tbsp. vanilla extract
- to 350 13"x9"x2" to 350 degrees. With a pastry brush, spread the softened butter evenly over the bottom and sides of a 13"x9"x2" baking serving dish. Set the dish aside.

French Onion Soup

Directions Sauté onions in butter until tender
- 6 C. onions peeled and thinly sliced
- 4 C. beef broth
- 1/4 C. butter
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 C. white wine
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6-8 slices French bread toasted and cut into 1" cubes
- 1 C. shredded Swiss or mozzarella cheese

Combine sugar, flour, and cocoa in a saucepan
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 Tab cocoa
- 2 cups milk (not skim or low fat)
- 3 egg yolks
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 baked pie crust
Hushpuppies (Deonna Townsend)

Combine eggs, onion, and milk together in a mixing bowl
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 cups plain yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 2-3 dashes paprika
- 2 Tablespoons oil
- Vegetable oil, for deep frying
CREAMED POTATOES & PEAS (Ben & Nathaniel Tite)

In a 2 quart saucepan place potatoes
- 12 sm. new red potatoes, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
- 8 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 c. red onion, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen tender tiny peas, thawed, drained
MY MOTHER'S COOKIES ( Imogene Tite Nicholson )

Mix all ingredients together, beating well
- 1 ) 4 eggs, well beaten
- 2 ) 1 cup sugar
- 3 ) 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 4 ) 1 cup light brown sugar
- 5 ) 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 6 ) 6 teaspoons baking powder
- 7 ) 4-4 1/2 cups flour, (enough to make fairly stiff dough)
- 8 ) 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 9 ) 3/4 cup raisins
Pecan Caramel Delights (Turtles)

- 1 bag rolos candies
- 1 bag halved pecans
