Mash garlic with anchovies in a large salad bowl
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 3 anchovy fillets
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 dash worcestershire
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1/2 romaine lettuce, chopped

Grilled Lemon Parsley Veal Chops

For veal: Whisk first 5 ingredients in a small bowl to blend
- Veal:
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 6 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh italian parsley
- 3 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 Tbsp minced fresh rosemary
- 6 8-10 0z loin or rib veal chops each about 1 inch thick
- Topping:
- 3 Tbsp chopped fresh Italian parsley
- 1 Tbsp grated lemon peel
- 1 1/2 tsp minced fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp minced garlic
French Onion Soup

- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 6 med onions, thinly sliced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tsp fresh thyme, picked and chopped or poultry seasoning
- 1 bay leaf, fresh or dried
- 1/2 cup dry sherry
- 6 cups beef stock
- 4 thick slices crusty bread, toasted
- 2 1/2 cups shredded Gruyere or Swiss cheese
