Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Preheat oven to 175 degrees F (80 degrees C)
- 4 (3/4 inch) thick pork chops
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tart apples - peeled, cored and sliced
Baked Garlic & Parmesan Fries

1.Preheat an oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C)
- 4 largeunpeeled russet potatoes, cut into 1/4-inch strips
- 1/4 cupolive oil
- 3 clovesgarlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoonground dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoonseasoned salt
- 1/2 cupgrated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1/4 cupchopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cupgrated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoonseasoned salt (optional)
Shrimp Creole from Sally Saussy

Fry bacon and remove from pan
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 cup tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1 tsp worcestshire
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 shakes Tabasco
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/1 /2 - 2 lbs shrimp raw
Shrimp Creole - To Stir

Fry bacon and remove from pan
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 cups tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 shakes Tabasco sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2-2 lbsshrimp (raw)
Mixed Berry Pie

- One recipe Easy Pie Dough, one half shaped and chilled in a pie pan, the other rolled out flat and chilled on a floured sheet pan
- 8 oz granulated sugar
- 1-2 ounces cornstarch (if you prefer a runny pie, go with 1 or 1.5 ounces. For a firmer filling, use 2 ounces.)
- 24 oz frozen mixed berries
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Egg wash (1 egg plus a pinch of salt, beaten)
- Sanding sugar for the top (optional)
Yummy Quiche

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 8 ounces bacon
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
- 2 cups Jarlsburg Swiss, shredded
- 1 cup shredded gruyere
- 3 tbsp all purpose flour
- 3 eggs lightly beaten
- 1 sauteed mushrooms
- 1 1/2 cups half and half (1/2 heavy /1/2 milk)
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 (4 oz) can diced green chile pepper drained (LEFT OUT)
Pecan Pie

Combine all ingredients together in a bowl
- 1 cup pecans chopped
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten

Saute garlic, onion, and pepper uin buter until tender dd reamining ngrdeients and cook until done
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 cup chooped onin
- 1/2 cup chooped bell pepper
- 1/4 stick butter
- 2 cups sliced fresh okra
- 3 cup chopped ripe tomatoes
- 1/3 teaspoon oregano
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3 ears of fresh summer corn (optional)
Brussels Sprouts Salad Shaved

Whisk together olive oil, vinegar, maple syrup and mustard in a medium bowl until well combined
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 12 oz. brussels sprouts (about 3 cups) outer leaves removed.
- 1 medium shallot, thinly sliced (about 1/4 cup)
- 1/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup roughly chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- 1 pear chopped about 3/4 cup

- 1 1 2% qt milk (use 2% or whole - not skim)
- 1 1 1 cup quick cook grits
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 1/8 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 3 3 3 cups (generous) shredded jarlsburg
- 6 6 6 eggs - well beaten
