Vegetable Tian

This is a great all in one side dish
- 2 large yellow onions, cut in half and sliced
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 pound medium round potatoes
- 3/4 pound zucchini
- 1 1/4 pounds medium tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon thyme
- 2 ounces gruyere cheese, or Parmesan cheese
Cauliflower Gratin

I never was a real fan of cauliflower, but this dish is incredible
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into large florets
- salt
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups hot milk
- pepper
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 3/4 cup grated Gruyere cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh bread crumbs
Sauce: Barbecue for Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Combine barbecue sauce over medium heat in a small pot
- 2 cups cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons molasses
- 3 tablespoons dark corn syrup
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 2 teaspoons chili flakes, or more to taste
- 2 teaspoons black pepper

I don't know anyone that doesn't love this wonderful Jewish cookie
- 8 ounces soft cream cheese
- 1/2 pound butter at room temperature
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3/4 cups raisins
- 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup apricot preserves or any favorite
- 1 egg beaten with 1 tablepsoon milk, for egg wash
Stuffed Peppers

- 4 bell peppers yellow or orange or red only
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- season with salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb sausage
- 1 yellow onion diced
- 1 diced yellow or red or orange or green bell pepper
- frozen corn
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can diced tomatoes with green peppers
- 1 to 1 1/2 cup white long grain rice fully cooked
- 1 large bunch of cilantro chopped
- Mexican blend cheese or cheddar shredded

This is a pure and simple recipe with loads of flavor
- 4 cups chopped rhubarb
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 6 tbs flour
- 1 tbs butter
- 2 pie crusts
Chicken: Pepperoni

Preheat oven to 350* Pound the chicken until 1/2 inch thin
- Crust:
- 4 (6 oz) skinless boneless chicen breasts
- 3 tbs olive oil
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper
- Sauce:
- 1 (16 oz) can chopped tomatoes or stewed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 oz. pepperoni, sliced in thin rounds (8slices)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

- 2 puff pastry sheets
- 1 1/2 sticks of butter, softened
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 handfuls of whole pecans, chopped large
- 1/2 stick of melted butter
- 3 tablespoons cinnamon
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
Chicken: Captains

Healt 3 tablspoons olive oil in deep skillet
- 3 lb chicken thighs, skinless
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 red pepper, choppped
- 1 whole yellow onion, diced
- 1 or 2 cloves minced garlic
- flour
- salt pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 5 cups canned whole tomatoes
- 1 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 3 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup petite peas
- 1/2 cup of currants
