In saucepan add milk, sugar and cream
- 2 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons coffee liquor
- 2 teaspoons vanilla

- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 eggs separated

In a medium saucepan scald the milk (just before it simmers), then add orange zest
- 1 1/2 cups milk, scalded
- zest of one orange
- 5 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon orange liquor
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream

Buttermilk, or sour milk (see variations) -- 1/2 cup Eggs, beaten -- 2 Preheat oven to 350°F
- Flour -- 2 cups
- Sugar -- 2 cups
- Baking soda -- 1 teaspoon
- Unsalted butter -- 8 tablespoons (1 cup)
- Cola -- 1 cup
- Cocoa powder -- 3 tablespoons

- Mini marshmallows -- 1 1/2 cups

- Powdered (confectioner's) sugar -- 1 pound
- Pecans (optional), chopped -- 1 cup

- 1 1/4 cups water at 120* to 130* temperature
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar/ packed
- 4 1/4 cups bread flour
- 2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

- 1 pound of bacon or 1 cup rendered chicken fat
- 2 cups medium diced yellow onion
- 1/3 cup Madeira wine
- 4 extra large eggs, hard cooked, peeled, and chunked
- 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- pinch of cayenne pepper

- 2 cans petit diced tomatoes
- 2 cans crushed tomatoes
- 1 whole onion, diced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 to 15 basil leaves, chiffonade or sliced thin

This is so refreshing and light and can be served with anything
- 4 heads of endive
- 4 ripe Hass avacados, peeled and seeded
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup lemon juice (2 lemons)

- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
