Cucumber Sandwiches

Mix the cream cheese, dressing mix, may and salad dressing together in a medium sized bowl
- 3 cucumbers: sliced thin
- 8 oz cream cheese; softened
- 1 pkg Ranch Dressing
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 heaping tablespoon salad dressing such as Miracle Whip
- loaf of cocktail rye bread
- dill weed
Dip for Steamed Artichokes

Wisk all together and serve
- 2 Tbs yogurt
- 1 Tbs mayonnaise (or sour cream)
- 1 Tbs grated Parmesan
- 1/2 Tbs chopped scallion
- 1/2 Tbs chopped chives
- 1/2 Tbs dry Sherry
- 1/8 tsp tumeric
- lemon juice if desired
Sopressata de Pasta

This is a mish/mash of ingredients that can be reduced or added to for additional flavors
- Sopressata salami 3oz diced
- Ditalini pasta
- cannnellini beans, rinsed well
- black olives, sliced
- cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can of fire roasted diced tomatoes
- red wine
- basil
- butter
- chicken stock
- Italian sausage
- Parmesan cheese
- ground chuck 1 1/2 pound
- garlic
- 1 onion
- Italian parsley
Pasta: Penne with lots of cheese

I love penne pasta for those nights when no one can make up their minds on what they want to eat
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup crushed tomatoes in thick tomato puree
- 1/2 cup fresh grated Pecorino Romano (1 1/2 oz.)
- 1/2 cup shredded imported fontina (1 1/2 oz)
- 1/4 cup crumbled Gorganzola (1 1/2 oz)
- 2 tablespoons ricotta cheese
- 1/4 pound mozzerarella, sliced
- 6 fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 pound penne pasta
- 4 tablespoons (1 1/2 stick) unsalted better
Chicken Thighs, Bourbon

This is a demo recipe and I haven't perfected it yet
- 2 lb. bone-in and skins on chicken thighs/paper towel dry then seasoned with salt and pepper
- 2 tbs. butter
- olive oil
- 6 cloves minced garlic
- 1 onion sliced
- 1 basket sliced brown mushrooms
- 1 cup bourbon
- 2 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 tbs. chopped fresh parsley
Bread: Roasted Red Pepper Cheese

My husband loves bread about as much as he loves me, and this bread is his favorite
- 1 cup tepid water (about 100*)
- 1/3 cup chopped roasted red bell peppers
- 1 tabelspoon butter, softened
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 3 1/4 cups bread flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
- 2 teaspoon dry yeast
Roast: Pot Roast

This would be amazing with a side of yellow noodles, cheese grits with scallions, or twice baked mashed potato cass...
- 1 large pot roast
- salt pepper
- flour
- olive oil
- celery, 2 or 3 stalks, chopped
- carrots, 3, chopped
- onion, 1 large Vidalia, chopped
- 5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 2 cups red wine
- 2 tablespoons cognac
- 1 28 oz. can whole tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 2 or 3 sprigs rosemary
- small bunch of thyme
Meatloaf

Oh this is sooo good. I especially love the catsup all over the top
- 5 pounds of even portions of ground veal, pork and chuck
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon of minced fresh thyme
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/3 cup worcester sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- kosher salt and pepper to season
- 3 eggs beaten
- 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs

Preheat oven350 Lined cupcake tins In a mixer cream sugar and butter, add eggs, one at a time
- 1 stick soft butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 unsweeted cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tbs red food coloring
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla

I do believe this sauce will make the very best barbeque this side of the dixie line
- 2 slices of plain bacon wrapped around 1 large bunch of thyme and then tied with cooking string
- 1 whole onion, chopped
- 4 chopped cloves of garlic
- 4 cups ketsup
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 4 tablespoons red or white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons dry mustard
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons plain or smoked paprika
