Mama's Cherry Pie

Line a pie shell with German Sweet Pastry (Shortcrust)
- Filling
- 2 1/2 c canned Cherries (drained?) Probably red tart cherries
- 1/4 c Juice (assume from cherries)
- 2 1/2 T Tapioca
- 1/2 T Butter
- Sugar to taste
- pinch salt
- Egg Wash -
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c cream
- 1 recipe German Sweet Pastry (Shortcrust)
Pot Roast

Great comfort food meal..
- 1 large piece of Chuck Roast
- 1 large carrot
- 1 large onion
- 10-12 small Yukon gold potato
- 1 c Red Wine
- Beef Stock
- 2 T Worchestershire Sauce
- salt
- pepper
- Olive Oil
- butter
- flour
Hot Corn Dip

Serve hot with corn chips
- 2 – 11 oz. cans Green Giant Mexicorn, drained
- 2 cups pepperjack cheese, grated
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- Jalapeno peppers to taste (I used about 1 fresh jalapeno chopped finely)
Nectarine Ollalieberry Pie

This is a great combination
- 4 c sliced Nectarines (I like the white but a mix of white/yellow are good)
- 2 c Ollalieberries
- 1 c - 1 1/4 c sugar
- 3/4 c flour
- lemon jest
- 1/4 c lemon juice
- 1/4 c butter
- pie crust
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 ce water
Mrs Field's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla
- 1 lb butter
- 2 c Dark Brown Sugar
- 2 t vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 6 c flour
- 1 1/2 t salt
- 1 1/2 t baking soda
- 4 c chocolate chip
Salmon with Yukon Gold Hash Browns

This recipe is very simple but makes the Salmon very moist and flavorful
- 3-4 medium Yukon Gold Potatoes (depend on size)
- 4 pieces of salmon (individual serving size - even depth is good not too thin)
- Salt
- Pepper
- dried basil
- Butter
- Olive Oil
Breakfast Casserole

This is an easy breakfast casserole that is delicious
- 8 ounces bacon, cut into small pieces
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 12 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- Salt and Pepper
- 3/4 cups Irish Cheddar, grated (or other good strong cheddar)
- 3/4 cups Asiago or Fiscalini Gold, grated
- 1/2 cup imported Parmesan, grated
- 1 (9-ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained of liquid (squeeze dry, optional)
- 1 package Kings Hawaiian rolls, cut into cubes
Sautéed Garlic & Balsamic Chicken Legs

Skinless chicken legs are seasoned with herbs and cooked until brown and tender
- 6 to 8 chicken legs
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper, divided
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, plus extra
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup pomegranate-flavored white balsamic vinegar
- 1/8 cup dry sherry or dry red wine
- 3 shallots, finely chopped
- 10 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1/3 cup water
Mama's Raspberry Squares

Ok, lot's of assumptions with this recipe, but I'm assuming it's similar to Lemon Bars
- Bottom Crust
- 1 c flour
- 1/2 c butter
- 1 T milk
- Filling
- 4 T Butter
- 1 C Sugar
- 1 t Vanilla
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c Raspberry Jam
- Topping
- 1 egg
- 1 Can Shaved Coconut (replace with flake baking coconut?)
Marm’s Rice Pilaf

I've never met a kid who didn't like this rice pilaf
- 1/2 c spaghetti (broken in pieces)
- 2-4 T butter (use 2 min)
- 1 c rice
- 2 c water
- 1 T powdered chicken stock (Knorr brand preferred)
- 1 can mushrooms with liquid (stems & pieces)
