Buttercream Frosting

This simple frosting recipe can either be vanilla or chocolate
- 2 lbs powdered sugar (for chocolate buttercream substitute part w/ sweetened cocoa)
- 1/2 c milk
- 1 T + 1 t vanilla extract
- 8 oz butter softened
Crepes

combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 C Flour
- 1/2 c Melted Butter
- 1/3 C sugar
- 1/3 t salt
- 3/4 c Milk (warmed?)
Swedish Pancakes

In a blender, blend milk, eggs and flour until well blended, scraping sides as necessary
- 2 C Milk
- 3 Eggs
- 1 ¼ c flour
- 1 stick Melted butter
Lemon Butter Garlic Shrimp with Angel Hair Pasta

This lovely pasta has a nice lemon flavor and is garlicky and yummy! Adapted from a few other recipes, I think this...
- 8 8 8 ounces angel hair pasta
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 teaspoons garlic, chopped
- 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 shallots, finely diced
- 1 1 1 pound large fresh shrimp (or small prawns), peeled, deveined and cleaned
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon salt (omit if using salted butter)
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 1 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 3/4 3/4 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Blueberry Muffins

Preheat 400 degrees. Mix together milk, oil and egg
- 1/2 C Milk
- 1/4 C Salad Oil
- 1 Egg beaten
- 1 1/2 c sifted flour
- 1/2 c sugar
- 2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 c blueberries

- 4 oz blue
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 4 oz cheddar sharp
- dash tobassco
- dash worchester
- chopped parsley
- chopped walnuts
Crab, Corn. Gruyere Quiche

This recipe is loosely adapted from a cooking light recipe
- 1 1/4 cups unbleached all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup extra virgin Olive Oil
- 3 tablespoons ice water, or more as needed
- 3 slice bacon
- 1/4 cup shallots, chopped
- 1/2 pound dungeness crab
- 1/2 cup sweet white corn
- 1 1/3 cups low fat milk
- 4 large eggs
- 2 ounces cave aged gruyere
- 2 ounces aged cheddar cheese
Pomegranate Mojito

There are lots of versions of pomegranate mojitos
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c hot water
- Several sprigs Mint
- 2 oz Pama Liquor
- 2 oz Bacardi Rum
- 4 oz Pomegranate Juice
- Juice of 1 lime
- Sparkling Water
Peach-Ollalieberry Crisp

This crisp is made in a cast iron skillet
- Topping
- 1 c flour
- 2/3 c packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 c (1 stick) chilled unsalted butter
- bottom layer
- 1 1/2 c pecans (optional)
- 2 T butter (unsalted)
- 2 1/4 lb peaches cut into wedges (around 5) (mixed peach/nectarine or nectarine is good)
- 1 c Ollalieberries
- 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 c packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 c sugar
- 3 T fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t garam masala (or cinnamon)
