Onion Cheese Soup

In a large saucepan, saute the onion in butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Pepper to taste
- 4 cups milk
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese
- Seasoned salad croutons
- Grated Parmesan cheese, optional
Strawberry Brownie Split

Heat oven to 350°F. Line two 9-inch round pans with foil; lightly spray foil with nonstick cooking spray
- Brownie
- 1 (15.8-oz.) pkg. fudge brownie mix with chocolate syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 egg
- Filling
- 1 (8-oz.) container frozen fat-free whipped topping, thawed
- 1 to 2 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur
- 2 pints (4 cups) fresh strawberries, sliced
Tangy Party Punch Recipe

In a large punch bowl, combine the first four ingredients
- 1 can (46 ounces) pineapple juice, chilled
- 1 can (46 ounces) orange juice, chilled
- 1 can (12 ounces) frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
- 1 can (12 ounces) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- 3 liters ginger ale, chilled
- 1 pint each orange, lemon and lime sherbet
Strawberry Lemonade Scones

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- Topping:
- 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (chilled, not softened), cut into cubes
- 1 cup diced fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries
- 1 generous tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- sugar
- Sanding sugar
- Cream
- Prepared lemon curd
Slow Cooker Chicken Caesar Sandwiches

1. Place chicken in a 3-4 quart slow cooker with 1-2 cups of water, cover and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 to 1 cup of your favorite Caesar dressing (I like Cardini's and Brianna's Asiago Caesar)
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley (if you don't have fresh use around 2 teaspoons of dried parsley)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
- 12 slider buns or 4-6 regular sized hamburger buns
Smores Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

To make the cookie dough: Whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a medium bowl; set aside
- For the cookie dough (Thick and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies):
- 2 cups plus 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 12 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and cooled until warm
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- For assembly:
- 1 cookie dough recipe, at room temperature
- 8 graham cracker squares, broken into halves (see header note above)
- 4 marshmallows, snipped in half lengthwise
- 1 full-size Hershey’s bar, divided between each of the prospective cookies
Firecracker Bundt Cake

Heat oven to 325°F. Generously grease a 12-cup tube cake pan
- 1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® white cake mix
- Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
- Red food coloring
- Blue food coloring
- 1 (12 oz) can Betty Crocker® Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
Winter Orange Pomegranate Iced Tea

In a medium saucepan, combine water, orange slices, cinnamon and cloves
- 3 cups water
- 1 navel orange, sliced into 1/4-inch slices
- 3 inches stick cinnamon, broken
- 6 whole cloves
- 4 orange-flavored or black tea bags (decaffeinated, if you like)
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 2 -3 tablespoons sugar
- 12 orange wedges or chunks
- 6 lime wedges or chunks
- 6 6-inch wooden skewers
- Ice cubes
Lasagna Soup

Heat the oil over medium-high heat in a large nonstick saucepot or Dutch oven
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 pound Italian turkey sausage, casings removed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (32-ounce) container chicken broth
- 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can petite diced tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 4 ounces broken whole-wheat lasagna noodles (about 4 noodles)
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup reduced-fat shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 Whole-wheat breadsticks or grissini (optional)
Homemade 3 Musketeer Bars

Line a 8" square pan with wax paper
- 2 c semi sweet choc chips
- 1 (8oz) tub of Cool Whip (thawed but not melted)
- 2 c choc candy coating wafer melts - not Choc Bark (I got mine at Michaels but I know Hobby Lobby sells them also)
