Salad: Coleslaw

In a large serving bowl, combine the mayonnaise and sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 2 small pinches salt
- 2 teaspoons ground mustard
- 2 healthy pinches parsley flakes
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 4 quarts roughly chopped cabbage
- 1 quart julienne carrots, cut in half
Neely's Devil Food Cupcakes

To make the cupcakes: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- Cupcakes:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Salt
- 1 stick unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup whole milk, room temperature
- 1/4 cup coffee, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Frosting:
- 4 ounces semi sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Raspberries, for garnish
Steamer: Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Fill water tank with water
- 2 pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch chunks
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 cup half & half
- Pinch of kosher salt
Homemade Salsa

In a medium-size bowl, mix the tomatoes, onion, garlic and jalapeno pepper
- 3 medium ripe tomatoes (about 1 lb.), peeled, cored, seeded and chopped
- 1/2 small red onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 fresh or canned jalapeno pepper, cored, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp. lime juice
- 2 tsp. olive oil
- 1/4 tsp. hot red pepper sauce
Beef or Chicken Fajitas

1. Thinly slice the beef or chicken breast across the grain into strips
- 12 ounces of beef sirloin steak or one large boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 green or red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 lime
- vegetable oil for frying
- seasoning (see notes)
- salt and pepper as needed
- 4 to 6 eight-inch flour tortillas
- salsa
- sour cream
- guacamole (See recipe below.)
Giada's Bacon and Pancetta Potatoes

Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat
- 4 thick-cut slices bacon, roughly chopped
- 2 (1/4-inch thick) slices pancetta, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
- 3 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1 garlic clove, thinly sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, plus extra for seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus extra for seasoning
- 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh thyme leaves
Pasta: Fettuccine Alfredo

- 1 lb, 5 oz (600 g) fresh fettuccine, or 1 lb (450 g) dried
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan, plus more for serving
- 8 tbsp (one stick) unsalted butter,
- cubed salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
