CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING: 1
- Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 1/3 cup Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening
- OR 1/3 stick Crisco® Baking Stick
- 2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped salted or unsalted pecans
- CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- 1 (3 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 ounce (1 square) semi-sweet chocolate, melted
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 tablespoon milk

- 2 cups self-rising white cornmeal
- 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 large jalapeno, chopped fine

Dice the butter and return it to the refrigerator while you prepare the flour mixture
- 12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) very cold unsalted butter
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/3 cup very cold vegetable shortening
- 6 to 8 tablespoons (about 1/2 cup) ice water
David's Best Breakfast Quesadillas

In a large skillet or griddle over medium heat, add butter
- Quesadillas:
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 slices bacon, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup shredded potatoes
- 1/4 cup finely chopped smoked sausage
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 4 eggs, beaten
- Pinch paprika
- 1/2 cup grated pepper jack cheese or jalapeno cheddar
- 2 12-inch flour tortillas

- Tangy Sour Cream Dipping Sauce:
- 3 Tbsp. salsa verde
- 2 Tbsp. minced red pepper or seeded red jalapeno
