Banana Muffins

1. Preheat oven to 400°F
- 2 large eggs
- 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas, (2 medium)
- 1 cup buttermilk, (see Ingredient notes)
- 1 cup unprocessed wheat bran, (see Ingredient notes)
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole-wheat flour
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips, (optional)
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts, (optional)
Pioneer Woman: Meatloaf

For the meatloaf: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- Meatloaf:
- 1 cup milk
- 6 bread slices
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt, such as Lawry's
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup minced flat-leaf parsley
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 8 to 12 thin bacon slices
- Tomato Sauce:
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 6 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- Dash or 2 hot sauce (more if you like)
- Dash or 2 Worcestershire sauce
Sunny's Churros

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter with water, salt and zest of 1 lime
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 limes, zested
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs, beaten
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- Special equipment: Pastry bag and large star tip

In a large, non-reactive bowl, combine all ingredients except for wonton wrappers and vegetable oil
- 1 Finely chopped Rotisserie
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon Ginger (minced)
- 1 bunch Scallions (finely chopped)
- 3 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Oil
- 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 pound Wonton Wrappers
- Vegetable Oil (for frying)
Flank Steak with Parsley-Garlic Sauce

1. Generously season both sides of flank steak with salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 pounds flank steak
- Coarse salt and ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon plus 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic
- 1 bunch flat-leaf parsley, stemmed (about 4 cups)
- 3 tablespoons fresh oregano leaves
- 3 tablespoons white-wine vinegar
- 1/8 teaspoon red-pepper flakes

Put the milk in a saucepan and whisk in the flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 8 ounces (2 sticks) cold unsalted butter
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled slightly

- 2 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 1/2 cup sultana raisins
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 stick butter, not margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup bourbon whiskey, to taste
