Slow Cooker Chops

Pork chops in mushroom soup with green beans and tators
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless pork chops
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can green beans
- 4 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- To taste: salt, pepper, garlic powder,and onion powder
- 1 table spoon of Oil
Roasted Vegetables

Preheat oven to 450°F. Combine leeks, turnips, and sweet potatoes in large roasting pan
- 2 leeks, white part only, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 1 pound turnips, peeled, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1 pound sweet potatoes, peeled, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 head garlic, 1/2 inch trimmed off top
French Toast Casserole

French Toast Casserole is perfect when you are serving a crowd
- 5 cups bread cubes
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup white sugar, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon margarine, softened
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

This is an easy slow cooker recipe that cooks while you are at work! It is wonderful on a cold, snowy day
- 7 Frozen boneless chicken breast
- 4 Large potatoes, cubed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1/2 onion, finely diced
- 1 celery stock, finely diced
- add spices to taste; cumin, parsley, poultry seasoning, seasoned salt and pepper
- 1 cups of frozen peas
- 1/2 cup of cut carots
- Add 1/2 cup of water to slow cooker as dumplings will absorb most of the liquid.
- Dumplings (makes 8)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)

- 1 (2 pound) package frozen shredded hash brown potatoe strings, thawed
- 2 tbsps butter, softened
- 8 oz of sour cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Chicken Orzo

1. Cook chicken until well browned in heated oil at medium-high heat in large skillet
- 1 tsp (5 mL) olive oil
- 3/4 lb (375 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 2 cups (500 mL) sliced button mushrooms
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (284 mL) CAMPBELL'S® Condensed Low Fat Cream of Chicken Soup
- 2/3 (150 mL) cup water
- 3/4 cup (175 mL) orzo
- 1 cup (250 mL) shredded carrots
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped fresh basil leaves, plus
- 2 basil leaves, cut into fine strips
- 1 tomato, diced

- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
- 3/4 cup skim milk
- 1 egg white
- 1 cup Kraft 4 Cheese Italiano Light Shredded Cheese
- 1/2 cup ham cubes
- 2 Tbsp. freshly chopped fresh basil
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
Tourtiere Mini Turnovers

BEAT cream cheese spread and butter in large bowl with mixer until well blended
- 1/2 cup (1/2 of 250-g tub) Philadelphia Cream Cheese Spread
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 lb. (225 g) lean ground pork
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 chicken bouillon cube, dissolved in
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 cup mashed potatoes
- 1 egg, beaten
Beef Samosa

- 2 large potatoes, peeled or southern style hashbrowns
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 bay leaf, crushed
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons chopped green chile peppers or green chile chutney
- 1 quart oil for deep frying
- 1 (16 ounce) package phyllo dough or samosa wrappers
