Poppy Seed Glaze

- 1/2 t. butter flavoring
- 1/2 t. almond extract
- 1 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1/4 C. orange juice (diluted)
- 3/4 C. sugar
Quinoa Salad with Lemon Basil Dressing

A fresh, healthy, and easy salad for summer; Hallie Tusberg Serves 4-6; Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 30 minute
- For dressing:
- 3 T. olive oil
- 3 T. fresh lemon juice
- 1 t. honey or agave nectar
- 1 clove garlic, Mminced
- 1 T. finely chopped fresh basil
- Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste.
- For salad:
- 2 C water
- 1 C quinoa
- 1/2 T. salt
- 2 t. olive oil
- 1 small bunch asparagus, about 15 spears, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 T. fresh lemon juice
- 1 C. frozen peas
- 1 avocado, chopped
- Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 C. chopped basil
Jiffy Hollandaise Sauce

Mix all ingredients in sauce pan
- 1/4 C sour cream
- 1/4 C mayonnaise
- 1/2 T prepared mustard
- 1 t lemon juice
Penne with Roasted Asparagus and Balsamic Butter

Heat the oven to 400 degrees
- 1 pound fresh asparagus spears
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon light or dark brown sugar
- 1 pound penne pasta
- 4 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
- 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
Rum Truffles

Melt chocolate bars in top of double boiler
- 2/3 C butter
- 2 - 8 oz. milk chocolate bars
- 1 - 8 oz. milk chocolate bar - grated
- 1/2 C whipping cream
- 4 t rum flavor *
- * If using real rum use Bacardi Amber
Crab and Oyster Bisque

- 1/4 c butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 shallots, finely chopped
- 3 Tbls all purpose flour
- 1 (8 oz) bottle clam juice
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1 Tbls worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp cajun seasoning
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 qt whipping cream
- 1 (12 oz) container fresh oysters, drained
- 1 lb fresh lump crabmeat
Hanky Panky - Pat Musiel

Cook sausage and ground chuck in fry pan; drain
- 1 lb. Bob Evans sausage
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 t oregano
- 1 t Worcehstershire sauce
- 1/2 t garlic salt
- 2 loaves party rye bread
Banana Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cups

- 3 cups rolled oats or old fashioned oats
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 cup mashed banana, 2 medium bananas
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup 1% milk
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Cooking spray.
- Additional maple syrup for serving
