Pop 'm Like Their Hot Jalapeno Poppers

Oven pre-heated to 350 degrees F
- a can of Pillsbury Crescent dough
- 2 about 2 tablespoons of cream cheese (give or take, depending on how much you want to use)
- 1-2 fresh jalapeños
- and about 3 strips of bacon (if you want... I always want bacon.)

Rosemary Cashews

Preheat oven to 350 Put nuts on ungreased cookie sheet
- 1 lb roasted, unsalted cashews
- 2 T minced fresh rosemary leaves
- 1/2 t cayenne pepper
- 2 t light brown sugar
- 1 T kosher salt (leave out if using salted cashews)
- 1 T melted unsalted butter (can use salted)
Baked Sweet and Sour Chicken

Start by preheating your oven to 325 degrees
- The chicken coating:
- 3-4 boneless chicken breasts
- salt + pepper
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- The sweet and sour sauce:
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 tbs ketchup
- 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic salt

- 2 8-oz. packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/4 C sugar, divided
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 egg, separated

Delicious BLT Salad with Lime Dressing

In a large bowl, combine lettuce, arugula, tomatoes, corn and avocado
- 2 cups butter lettuce, chopped
- 2 cups fresh arugula, chopped
- 1 pint grape tomatos, quartered
- 4 slices thick-cut bacon, fried and crumbled
- 1 cup sweet corn
- 1 avocado, chopped
- 4 ounces feta, crumbled
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Aunt Merelyn's Fruit Slush

Dissolve sugar in water, on stove
- 6 C water
- 4 C sugar
- 5 banana
- pineapple juice - 42 oz can
- orange juice concentrate- 6 oz. can
- lemonade concentrate - 6 oz. can
- crushed pineapple - 2 lb.
- 2 - 2 litter bottles of gingerale or 7-up
Jalapeno Popper Dip

Preheat oven to 350. Combine all of the ingredients into a medium bowl
- Topping:
- 6-8 slices of bacon, diced and cooked crispy
- 2 8-oz packages of cream cheese, soft
- 1 cup of mayonnaise
- 4-6 jalapeno's, chopped and deseeded. The seeds will make it fiery hot.
- 1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup diced green onion
- 1 cup of crushed crackers ( I used Ritz)
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 stick of butter, melted
Valentine Pink Popcorn

- Lots of popped popcorn – a big bowl (around 15 cups or so)
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 small box red Jell-O gelatin powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
