Parmesan Chicken

Measure salt and pepper, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and bread crumbs into a bag
- 1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup dry white wine

You will need two 9 x 13 pans
- 2 -12 packages of sweet Hawaiian rolls (the small dinner roll looking ones)...
- 1 1/2 lbs of Virginia ham (NOT honey ham)
- 12 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 stick of real butter
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Pork Stew with Mushrooms

Heat oil and butter in a sauté pan over medium-high
- HEAT:
- When time is limited, pork tenderloin is an ideal option for stews. Because it’s already tender, it doesn’t require hours of braising.
- Total time: 30 minutes
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 1⁄2 lb. pork tenderloin, trimmed, cut into 2-inch pieces, dried with paper towels, seasoned with salt and black pepper
- SWEAT:
- 8 oz. cremini mushrooms, quartered
- 1 ⁄2 cup sliced leeks or shallots
- 1 ⁄2 cup diced carrot (1 carrot)
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- DEGLAZE:
- 1 ⁄4 cup dry sherry or white wine
- 3 ⁄4 cup apple cider or juice
- 3 ⁄4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- GARNISH:
- Diced Granny Smith apple
- Fresh thyme sprigs
Sour Cherry Pie

Strain cherries in a colander, reserving 1/2 cup juice
- 4 c. sour cherries, pitted
- 1/2 c. sour cherry juice
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. instant tapioca, uncooked
- 1/4 t. almond extract
- 1/8 t. salt
- 9-inch pie crust
- Crumb Topping
- 1/3 c butter, softened
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- Combine all ingredients; stir into a crumb consistency. If not used immediately, cover and refrigerate.
Baked Parmesan Shrimp (Dejonge)

- 1 T minced garlic

- 2 cups (1 twelve-ounce package) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk

- Icing:
- 1 C Powdered Sugar
- 2 T milk
Hummingbird Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 1 (18.25-ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1 (4-serving-size) package vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup water
- 4 eggs
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 (16-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 (6-ounce) jar red maraschino cherries, well drained and chopped, with 1 tablespoon reserved for garnish
- 1 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple, well drained
- 1 cup chopped pecans, with 2 tablespoons reserved for garnish
Barbecue Turkey Loaf

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- 6 tablespoons barbecue sauce, divided
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2/3 cup quick-cooking or old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 egg whites, lightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound ground turkey breast
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 red or green bell pepper, chopped
Cinnamon Roll Dutch Apple Pie

Cooking With Sugar takes Apple Pie up a notch by making the crust with Cinnamon Rolls
- 11 Heat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, mix Crumb Topping ingredients with fork until large clumps form. Refrigerate. Spoon icing from can of rolls into small microwavable bowl; cover and refrigerate.
- 22 Lightly flour rolling pin and work surface or cutting board. Separate dough into 8 rolls. With rolling pin, roll each cinnamon roll, cinnamon side up, into 4- to 5-inch round.
- 44 In large bowl, gently mix Filling ingredients. Spoon filling into cinnamon roll-lined pie plate. Sprinkle crumb topping over top to completely cover filling.
- 55 Bake about 1 hour or until top is golden brown and apples are tender. Cool on cooling rack at least 1 hour.
- 66 Before serving, microwave icing on High 10 to 15 seconds or until runny enough to drizzle. Drizzle back and forth over top of pie.
