Creamy Pudding Sauce

- 1/2 C butter
- 2 T flour
- 1 C light cream
- 1 C sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/8 tsp salt

Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup buttermilk
Party Sirloin

In shallow glass dish, whisk together marinade ingredients
- 2 pounds sirloin steak
- 1/3 cup rice or cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sherry
- 3 green onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Creamy Chocolate Pudding

Mix sugar, flour, cocoa and salt in medium saucepan
- 1 1/4 C granulated sugar
- 1/2 C all-purpose flour
- 1/2 C cocoa
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 C milk
- 2 T butter
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp vanilla
Sticky Red-Hot Ribs

cut spareribs into serving-size pieces and place in large pot; cover with water and bring to boil
- 3 lbs pork spareribs
- 1 C chili sauce
- 3 T cider vinegar
- 1 T dry mustard
- 1 T packed brown sugar
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- pinch cayenne pepper
Italian Meatball Stew

In a large bowl, conbine beef with bread crumbs, eggs, milk, cheese, salt, pepper and garlic
- 1 1/2 lbs extra-lean ground beef
- 1/2 C fine dry bread crumbs
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/4 C milk
- 2 T grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 , 6 oz can tomato paste
- 2 C beef broth
- 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano, crushed
- 1/2 tsp dried basil, crushed
- 1 , 16 oz pkg frozen Italian-style vegetables, cooked and drained (can use combinatino of frozen or bresh vegies to your liking)
Butternilk Dried Cherry Drop Biscuits

In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons soft margarine, cold
- 1/4 cup raisins or dried cherries
- 3/4 cup buttermilk, or low fat yogurt
Patties in Gravy

Patties: Combine first 4 ingredients in bowl
- 2/3 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 10 ounces condensed tomato soup
- 2 tablespoons onion flakes
- 2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
- 1 1/4 cups water
Olive Bread with Sage and Oregano

combine yeast, sugar, milk and water in large bowlk, whisk until yeast is dissolved
- 4 tsp dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 1/4 C warm milk
- 1 C warm water
- 2 C plain flour
- 1/3 C olive oil
- 3 1/2 C plain flour, extra
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 C seeded black olives, halved
- 2 T shredded fresh sage
- 2 T chopped fresh oregano
Saucy Meatballs

Combine eggs, ketchup, soy sauce, seasoned salt, onion powder and garlic powder in small bowl
- Sauce:
- 2 eggs, fork-beaten
- 1/4 C ketchup
- 2 T soy sauce
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/4 C soda cracker crumbs
- 2 lbs extra lean ground beef
- 1 C cranberry jelly
- 7 1/2 oz tomato sauce
- 1 T sugar
- 1 T white vinegar
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- pinch ground cloves
