  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 pound andouille sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 5 slices bacon
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

  • 1 1/2 C. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 C. butter, melted
  • 2 C. sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 t. vanilla extract
  • 2 C all purpose flour
  • 2 t. ground cinnamon
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1 t. salt
  • 2 1/2 lb. apples peeled and cut into 1/3 inch thick wedges. Granny Smith or I use Gala. This is about 4 small apples or 2-3 large apples
  • To make gluten free I add 1/2 t. Xanthum Gum.
