Egg Rolls

In large skillet, cook sausage over medium-high skillet heat, stirring frequently until no longer pink
- 1 package Jimmy Dean Sausage (sage flavor)
- 2 bags cole slaw mix
- 3 Tbls. ginger
- 3 Tbls. garlic, finely chopped
- 1 Tbls. black pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
Crock Pot Chicken

Bush chicken with melted butter then season with salt and pepper
- 4 Chicken breast
- 2 T. melted butter
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 package of dry Italian Salad Dressing mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom OR cream of chicken soup
- 3 oz. cream cheese, cut up
- 1 T. chopped onion (can use dried onions)
Hot Dog Sauce

Fry hamburger and onion together, drain off excess grease
- 2 lbs. hamburger
- 2 onions chopped fine (med. size)
- 1 chili brick
- 2 can tomato coup
- 4 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
Velveeta Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Rice

Cook and stir chicken in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 5 minutes or until done
- 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 can chicken broth (14.5 oz. size)
- 2 Cups instant white rice, uncooked
- 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) Velveeta, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed (10 oz. size)
English Toffee

This candy turns out the best when you use a candy thermometer
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 3/4 cup butter
- 2 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 lb. almonds, finely chopped
- 1/2 lb. dipping chocolate or 1/2 lb. milk chocolate chips
- Additional chopped almonds
Blender Whole Wheat Pancakes/Waffles

A great way to use whole wheat without having to grind it first
- 1 cup whole wheat kernels
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 2 egg whites or 1 whole egg
- 1/4 cup applesauce or 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. baking powder
Oatmeal Cookies

These cookies have a cake like texture, with a hint of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate or milk chocolate chips
- 1 2/3 cups quick cooking oatmeal
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Honey Wheat Bread

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water in a large mixing bowl
- 2 packages or 5 tsp. yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 3/4 cup warm water
- 3-4 cups all purpose flour
- 3 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1 Tb. salt
