Caulflower and Apple Salad

In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil and vinegar; season with salt and pepper
- 2 tbs extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tbs cider vinegar
- salt and pepper
- 1 small head cauliflower
- 2 thinly sliced gala apples
- 3/4 c torn fresh mint leaves
Loaded Waffle Fries

1. Bake the waffle fries as the label directs
- 1 20-to-22 oz package frozen waffle fries
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 1/2 c shredded mild yellow cheddar cheese (about 6 oz)
- 1/2 c shredded mozzarella cheese (about 2 oz)
- 1 tbs cornstarch
- 2 tbs chopped pimientos
- 1/4 tsp mustard powder
- 1/4 c sour cream
- kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- 2 scallions, sliced
Fruit Purees (for bellinis)

Cook sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes
- for peach puree:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 16-ounce bag frozen peaches (thawed)
- 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
- for strawberry or blueberry:
- 16-ounce bag of berries (thawed)
Broiled Banana Spilts

1. Preheat oven to 375F. Beat together butter and sugars with a mixer on high speed until fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cups packed light brown sugar
- 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon coarse salt
