Boeuf a la Ficelle

Note: Suspending the meat in the water ensures that it will cook evenly all the way around
- 1 kg beef rump roast, rolled and tied
- 1 bunch watercress
- Salt
- 1 T red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 T olive oil
- Crusty bread cut into thin slices
- Very coarse salt
Chicken in Crock Pot

Cook for 6-8 hrs
- 1 c brown sugar
- 2/3 c vinegar
- 1/4 c Sprite
- 3 T minced garlic
- 1 T soy
- 1 tsp pepper
Stuffed Chicken

Spread garlic, salt, and pepper on the outside and inside the chicken
- Stuffing:
- Medium sized chicken
- Garlic, crushed
- Salt/pepper
- 1/2 c cut celery
- 1 medium onion, sautéed
- 1/2 c raisins
- 4 apples
- 1 matza, made into crumbs OR
- 4 T matzo meal
Chicken Chop Suey (Tamar)

- 1/4 c oil
- 1 c onions, diced
- 1 c celery
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 c boiling water
- 2 c chicken pieces
- 2 tsp soy
- 1 tsp sugar

Dried Fruit Stuffed with Meat

Simple Stroganoff

Combine Beef stew seasoning with water
- 1 pkg Beef Stew seasoning
- 3/4 c water
- 1 1/2 lbs sirloin, or boneless, chicken breasts cut in thin strips
- 1 T oil
- 1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 c sour cream
- Egg noodles and chopped parsley, optional

- 1 stick margarine
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c confectioner’s sugar

- Stuffing:
- 20 g mushrooms
- 50 g white bread, no crust
- 1 T margarine
- 1 small onion, chopped
- Parsley
- 500 g ground meat
- 1 Madagascar Green pepper
- 2 T brandy
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt
Brick Roast (Cranberry Sauce)

- 1 16oz can cranberry sauce
- 1 c brown sugar
- 3 T onion soup mix
- 2 c water
Jelly Cookies

- 50 g margarine, softened
- 4 c sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 c flour
- 2 T milk
- 3 T Osem jelly, flavor of choice

- Decoration:
- Egg yolk
- Demrara Sugar
