Country Club Chicken

Mince the onion. Clean and slice the mushrooms
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 large onion
- 7 oz mushrooms
- 1 can concentrated cream of mushroom soup
- 4 or 5 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 2/3 cup sharp cheddar
- 1 apple
- butter or oil
- salt & pepper
Beef and Noodles

Instructions Heat an oval dutch oven over medium high heat
- For the meat:
- 1 3-4 lbs piece of braising beef, preferably bone-in (chuck)
- 2 T vegetable oil
- coarse salt and pepper to coat the beef, at least a tablespoon of salt
- decent pinch of salt for onions
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 T white wine
- 2 cups beef stock
- For the final dish:
- 3-4 cups beef stock
- salt if stock is homemade
- 1 lbs homemade, handcut noodles
- 1-2 T flour if needed (see directions)
- salt and pepper to taste for final dish
