- 1 lb. fresh Brussels sprouts
- 5 slices bacon
- 1/4 c. chopped pecans
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper

- Dough:
- 6 3/4 c. or 7 3/4 c. King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour*, *See step #1, below.
- 1 Tb.+ 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 Tb. instant yeast
- 1 3/4 c. lukewarm water
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1/2 c. melted butter or vegetable oil
- Filling:
- 2/3 c. Baker's Cinnamon filling* mixed with 3 tablespoons water, *Substitute 2/3 cup granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon for the Baker's Cinnamon Filling and water, if desired. If you use sugar and cinnamon, DO NOT ADD THE WATER.
- Topping:
- 3 Tb. butter, melted
- 2 Tb. maple syrup, honey, or corn syrup, light or dark
- 3 Tb. Sticky Bun Sugar*, *Substitute brown sugar for the sticky bun sugar, if desired
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 2/3 c. pecan halves or coarsely chopped pecans

- 3/4 c. butter, cubed
