Cheese Fondue--KA Flour

- 1 garlic clove, peeled
- 1 3/4 cups dry white wine, such as Gewurtztraminer
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 cups shredded Gruyere, Emmentaler, or Swiss cheese
- 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch or Signature Secrets
- 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard, optional
- 1/8 teaspoon grated nutmeg, optional
- bread or vegetable sticks for dipping
All Sold-Out Chicken Pot Pies

TO MAKE THE FILLING: Melt the butter in a large saute pan set over medium heat
- Filling:
- 3 Tb. unsalted butter
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 1 large russet potato, peeled and diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 8 oz. button mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 purchased cooked rotisserie chicken, `or 1 whole stewed chicken, cooled
- 8 oz. fresh green beans, cut into 1" pieces (opt.)
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, opt.
- Cream Sauce:
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 c. flour
- 2 1/2 c. chicken stock, preferably homemade
- 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream, opt.
- dash hot pepper sauce, such as Tabasco
- salt and freshly ground white pepper
- Crust:
- 1 c. (2 sticks) chilled unsalted butter
- 3 c. flour
- 10 oz. chilled cream cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground white pepper
- 1 large egg
Chocolate Mousse Torte

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom only of 9" springform pan with cooking spray or shortening
- 1 pouch (10.25) fudge brownie mix
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 egg
- 2 bags (11.5 oz. each) semisweet chocolate chunks, (3 1/2 c.)
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/4 c. toffee bits
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pint (2 cups) whipping cream
Coke Icing

Bring butter, cocoa, and coke to a boil
- 1/2 c. butter
- 6 Tb. coke
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 3 Tb. cocoa
- 1 box powdered sugar

- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1 Tb. chopped green onion
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper
- 1/8 tsp. hot sauce
- 1-2 drops green liquid food coloring
- 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded and grated
- 24 slices white sandwich bread
Grilled Lemon Chicken Open-Faced

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, sugar, hot sauce, onion, salt a pepper
- Toppings:
- 1/3 c. olive oil
- 1 Tb. finely grated lemon zest
- 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice , (approximately 2 lemons)
- 3 Tb. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. hot sauce, (such as Texas Pete's)
- 1/4 c. grated onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. freshly ground pepper
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
- 1 recipe Grilled Flatbread
- 1 c. arugula leaves
- 1/4 c. crumbled blue cheese
- 4 slices applewood smoked bacon, cooked and crumbled

- 4 Tbs. finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- Freshly ground pepper, to taste
