Crystallized Ginger Scones

Directions: Preheat an oven to 350�F
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 8 Tbs. (1 stick) chilled unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 1/3 cup chopped crystallized ginger
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup heavy cream

Combine all of the dough ingredients except the currants and mix and knead them together -- by hand, mixer or bread...
- Whole grains, seeds and currants make these delightful "knots" both nutty and slightly sweet.
- 1 1/3 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons Baker's Special Dry Milk or nonfat dry milk
- 3 tablespoons King Arthur Easy-Roll Dough Improver, (optional, but good)

- 3 1/4 cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast

- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed, undiluted and divded

Baby Pound Cakes

Beat butter and cream cheese at medium speed about 2 minutes or until creamy
- 1 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1/3 tsp. salt
- 1 Tb. vanilla bean paste, or vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
Chocolate Meringue Cupcakes

For crust, combine all ingredients in a medium bowl; stir until well blended
- Filling:
- Crust: 16 (2") chocolate-wafer cookies, finely ground
- 3 Tb. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3 egg whites
- 2/3 sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 c. semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Coconut-Lime Bars with Hazelnut Shortbread Crust

Crust: Position rack in center of oven and preheat to 350 degrees
- Crust:
- A sprinkling of sweetened coconut tempers the tangy lime filling.
- 1 c. hazelnuts, toasted, husked
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 13 Tb. chilled unsalted butter, cut into 1/2" cubes
- Filling:
- 2 c. + 2 Tb. sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 3/4 c. fresh lime juice, from about 8 large limes
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tb. finely grated lime peel
- 3/4 c. (packed) sweetened flaked coconut, about 3 oz.
