  • 4 c peeled and diced potatoes
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 stalk celery chopped
  • 3/4 c shredded carrots
  • 1 t dried basil
  • 1 t dried parsley
  • 3 c chicken broth
  • 8 oz ground beef plus 1 T oil
  • 4 T butter
  • 1/4 c flour
  • 1 1/2 c half and half
  • 1 t salt to taste
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1/4 c sour cream ****substitute
  • 2 c shredded mild cheddar **** substitute

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 5 large beaten eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 t vanilla extract
  • 3 cups cubed Italian bread which you
  • allow to get stale over night
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • Sauce;
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 t vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup brandy

  • Spread on a mixture of:
  • Spread in a long pan
  • 2 cans jalapeno dip or refried beans
  • 3 each ripe avocados, chopped w/lemon juic
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • Combine together and add on top:
  • 2 large tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 bunch green onion, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped olives
  • Grate over the top:
  • 1 brick cheddar cheese
