- 1 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 c butter at room temp
- 5 T cold water
- Custard
- 3/4 c brown sugar
- 3 t cornstarch
- 1/4 t salt
- 2 c milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 T butter
- 1 1/4 t vanilla
- Topping
- 2 T light brown sugar
- 6 T sugar
- 2 t cornstarch
- pinch cinnamon
- 5 T butter
- 4 pears, cored and peeled
- whipped cream
Chex Muddy Buddies

Microwave the peanut butter, butter, and chocolate chips until smooth
- 9 c rice chex
- 1 c semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c smooth peanut butter
- 1/4 c butter
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 1/2 c powdered sugar
Bruschetta Appetizer Tart

Heat oven to 425. Remove pie crust from pouch; place crust flat on ungreased cookie sheet
- 1 Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust, softened as directed on box
- 1 c chopped Italian plum tomatoes (3 med)
- 1/3 c chopped fresh basil
- 2 t olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced or 1/4 t garlic powder
- 1/2 c shredded fresh Parmesan cheese
Banana Bread no Sugar, no Oil

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a loaf pan
- 2 c whole wheat flour
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/2 c unsweetened applesauce
- 3/4 c honey
- 2 eggs beaten

Spinach Artichoke Rigatoni

Preheat broiler. Prepare rigatoni and spinach according to package directions
- 3 c uncooked rigatoni
- 1 pkg(10oz) frozen creamed spinach
- I can (14oz) water packed artichoke hearts, rinsed, drained, and quartered
- 2 c (8oz) shredded part skim milk mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1/4 c grated Parmensan cheese
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
Mostaccioli Bake

Cook pasta according to box directions
- 8 oz uncooked mostaccioli
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
- 2 c 1% cottage cheese
- 1 pkg (10oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 c shredded part skim mozarella cheese, divided
- 2/3 c shredded parmesan cheese, divided
- 1/3 c minced fresh parsley
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 2 1/2 c meatless spaghetti sauce, divided
Candied Walnuts

COOK sugar, syrup and water in pan to 242 on a candy thermometer
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup karo syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 cups walnuts
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Black Bean Burger (skinny)

Place a med skillet over med high heat
- 3/4 c panko
- 3 T plus 2 t olive oil, divided
- 2 (15oz ea)cans black beans,drained, rinsed, divided
- 2 large eggs
- 1 t cumin
- 1/2 salt
- 1/4 t cayenne pepper
- 1 red bell pepper, stemmed, seeded and finely diced
- 1/4 c fresh cilantro
- 1 shallot, minced
