Grilled Corn with Honey Chili Lime Butter

For butter, mix the ingredients in a bowl
- 4 ears of corn, husks still on
- 1/2 c butter, softened
- 1 t salt
- 1 T garlic powder
- 1 t chili powder
- 3 T honey
- zest of 1 lime
Pulled Pork Sandwich

Heat oil in a large skillet over med high heat
- 1 T extra virgin olive oil
- 3 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1/3 c raw cane sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 t dried oregano
- 1 t freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/3 c cider vinegar
- 1 c chili sauce, such as Heinz
- 1 1/2-3 t minced chipotle chile in adobe sauce
- 3 lbs boneless pork shoulder or blade (butt)roast, trimmed
- fresh rolls
- shredded cabbage (coleslaw mix)
French Onion Soup

In a large saucepan melt butter; add onions
- 2 T butter or margarine
- 2 c thinly sliced yellow onions (2lrg)
- 4 c beef broth
- 2 T dry sherry or dry white wine
- 1 t worcestershire sauce
- dash black pepper
- 6 slices French bread toasted
- 1 c shredded Swiss, Gruyere, or Jarlsburg cheese (4oz)
Gooey Butter Cake

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 4 ounces butter, melted and cooled
- 2 each eggs
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 16 ounces confectioner's sugar
- 2 each eggs
Cajun Beans

In a 4 qt metal pot, heat oil over moderately high heat until very hot, but not smoking
- 2 T vegetable oil
- 1 large yellow onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 medium sweet green peppers chopped
- 1 med size stalk celery, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 t dried thyme crumbled
- 1 t ground cumin
- salt to taste
- 1/4 t ground cayenne pepper
- 3 c vegetable stock
- 1 1/2 c long grain rice
- 4 c cooked red kidney beans
Butterscotch Cookies

Crock Pot Cheesy Chicken, Bacon, and Tater Tot Bake

Grease the bottom of the crock pot and layer 1/2 the tater tots on the bottom of the pot
- 32 oz bag of tater tots
- 3 oz crumbled bacon pieces
- 1 lb skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 1 1/2 c grated Colby cheese
- 1 1/2 c grated Monterey Jack pepper cheese
- 3/4 c milk
