Lentil Sausage Soup

Crumble sausage into a skillet
- 1 pkg turkey Italian sausage links, casings removed
- 13 c water
- 1 c chopped carrot
- 1/2 c chopped celery
- 2 t onion powder
- 3/4 t dried oregano
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 1/2 t dried basil
- 1/2 t seasoning salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 2 c dried lentils, rinsed
- 1/2 c uncooked long grain rice
- 2 cans (15 oz and one that is 8 oz)tomato sauce
- 2 1/2 c frozen cheese tortellini

Impossible Mac and Cheese Pie

This came from the back of the Bisquick box years ago
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup uncooked macaroni
- 2 1/4 cups milk
- 4 each eggs
- 1/2 cup Bisquick® baking mix
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Gingerbread Cookies

- 1/2 c butter
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/2 c molasses
- 2 T millk
- 1 egg
- 1 t baking soda
- 3 t dried ginger
- 1/2 t cinnamon

Penne with Chorizo and Tomatoes

Cook penne according to pkg instructions
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1/4 c slivered almonds
- 6 oz cured chorizo sausage, thinly sliced
- 1 c grape tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 c small pitted black olives
- 2 large cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
- 3/4 c low sodium chicken broth
- 2 T white wine
- 1 T white balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 c chopped fresh basil
Crockpot Maple Dijon Chicken Tenders

Season the chicken tenders with the garlic salt and pepper and place in the crockpot
- 6 chicken tenders
- 1/4 c pure maple syrup
- 2 T balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 c Dijon mustard
- 3/4 t garlic salt
- pepper to taste
Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Preheat oven to 375 and lightly grease 9x13 pan
- 32 oz pkg frozen hash brown potatoes
- 8 oz cooked diced ham
- 2 cans condensed cream of potato soup
- 16 oz sour cream
- 2 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 c grated Parmesan cheese
Firehouse Meatloaf

- 1/2 c toasted wheat germ
- 1/2 c unseasoned bread crumbs
- 3 egg whites
- 6 T lowfat milk
- 3/4 t salt
- 3/4 t garlic powder

- 1/2 t dried basil

Sweet Lemon Spareribs

Place ribs in a pan, cover with water and bring to a boil
- 3 lbs country style spareribs
- water
- 1 6oz can lemonade concentrate
- 2 lemonade cans of water
- 3 T soy sauce
- 3 T ketchup
- 3 T packed brown sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 1-2 t vinegar
- cornstarch dissolved in water
Apple Cinnamon White Cake

Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 9x5 loaf pan
- 1/3 c brown sugar
- 1 t ground cinnamon
- 2/3 c white sugar
- 1/2 c butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 t vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c all purpose flour
- 1 3/4 t baking powder
- 1/2 c milk
- 1 apple peeled and chopped
