- • 2 T brown sugar
- • 1/2 t whole allspice
- • 1 t whole cloves
- • dash ground nutmeg
- • 2 cinnamon sticks

- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. kosher or sea salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 cup milk or cream
- 5 cups peeled, finely diced peaches
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
