French Toast Breakfast Casserole

This is a great French Toast breakfast casserole that you make the night before for a family breakfast
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 tsp. light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- dash nutmeg
- 1 loaf challah bread
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Tuna-Avocado Cups

1. Press won ton wrappers into nonstick mini-muffin cups, pleating each to form a small shell
- If what they say is true―we eat with our eyes―then the vibrant colors in this seafood starter will get your mouth watering for cool avocado, sushi-grade tuna, and fresh cilantro.
- 24 won ton wrappers
- 1 small lime
- 1 avocado, cubed
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/2 pound sushi-grade tuna
- 1 . Press won ton wrappers into nonstick mini-muffin cups, pleating each to form a small shell. Bake at 350° for 7 to 9 minutes or until golden brown. Remove cups with a small spatula; cool.
- 2 . Combine zest and juice from lime in a medium bowl. Fold in avocado, cilantro, and tuna. Spoon into won ton cups, and serve immediately. Makes 2 dozen.
- Hosting Help: Plan on seven to eight appetizer servings per person.
Candy Cane Cookies

- 1/2 stick butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup softened cream cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, plus additional for surface
- Red food coloring

Garlic Butter Shrimp

Melt 2 Tbsl butter in large skillet over medium heat
- 1 stick unsalted butter divided
- 1 1/2 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Kosher salt and pepper to taste
- 5 cloves of garlic minced
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- Juice of 1 lemon, or more to taste
- 2 Tbls. chopped fresh parsley

- 4 firm, ripe avocados, halved, pitted, and peeled
- 1/2 medium white onion, minced (about 4 tablespoons)
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 medium lime, freshly squeezed (about 2 tablespoons)
