- 16 1/4 * 16 1/4-inch-thick baguette slices, cut on slight diagonal
- 1 * 1 tablespoon butter
- 12 * 12 ounces fresh baby spinach leaves
- 1 * 1 pound sweet Italian sausage, casing removed
- 1 1/2 * 1 1/2 cups grated Fontina cheese, divided
- 3/4 * 3/4 cup diced drained roasted red peppers (from 12-ounce jar)
- 6 * 6 large eggs
- 1 * 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 * 1 cup whole milk
- 1 * 1 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
- 1/4 * 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 cup(s) packed light brown sugar, divided

- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg, or freshly grated nutmeg (fresh preferred)

Preheat oven to 350* Grate frozen butter onto small plate with coarse cheese grater

- 6 T. Frozen butter
- 1 glass ice water
- 1 egg (divided))
- 1 T. Sugar

- 6 oz. Brie
- 2 c. Fresh blueberries
- Juice from 1 lemon

Pan-fried Okra, Onion and Tomatoes

- 2 pounds fresh okra
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil **or spray non-stick pan with olive oil**
- 1 medium-size red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 large tomatoes, seeded and thinly sliced

- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Easy Banana Cake

- CAKE
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 c. mashed bananas
- 1 c. vegetable or canola oil
- 4 eggs
- FROSTING
- 1-1/2 boxes confectioner’s sugar (more if you want stiffer frosting)
- 1 8-oz cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1 c. pecans (need more if you are going to decorate the side of the cake as shown in picture).

- 1 Red Delicious apple, chopped
- 1 kiwifruit, peeled and chopped

- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
- 4 (7 1/2-inch) flour tortillas

- 2 tablespoons sugar
Spicy Indian Chicken

This is a very easy dish to put together
- 1 T. cumin
- 1 T. paprika
- 1-1/2 t. cayenne (the more you use the spicier the dish)
- 1 T. turmeric
- 1 T. Montreal Steak seasoning
- 2-3 garlic cloves, pressed
- 6 T. fresh lemon juice
- CHICKEN: 3 chicken breasts (slice into 6 cutlets); 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs, or 3 pounds of chicken pieces.
