Banana Pudding from scratch

I found this years ago on Oprah Winfrey’s website
- 3 cups milk
- 2 vanilla beans, split lengthwise
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Pinch of salt
- 6 large egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut up
- 12 ounces vanilla wafers
- 5 ripe bananas, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch-thick rounds
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar

Easy homemade pudding recipe from Oprah, circa early 2000
- 3 cups milk

Chocolate Kahlua Sheet Cake (30 minutes!)

This is a Texas Sheet Cake recipe that I revised to include Kahlua
- FROSTING:
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 1 stick butter
- 4 T. cocoa powder
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. vegetable or canola oil
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 t. soda
- 1/2 t. cinnamon
- 1 t. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 stick butter
- 6 T. Kahlua
- 4 t. cocoa powder
- 3 c. powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Roasted Spicy Cauliflower

- 1 large head cauliflower, cored and cut into florets
- 2 T extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes (I used Aleppo pepper)
- pinch salt

Tuscany Pasta Toss

- 1 (9-oz.) pkg. refrigerated fettuccine
- 2 cups chopped tomatoes
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1 (4.5-oz.) jar sliced Mushrooms, drained
- 3 T. olive oil
- 2 T. balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 t. cracked black pepper
- 4 oz. Gorgonzola or blue cheese, crumbled (1 cup)
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
