Whole Wheat Flax Apple Muffins

Heat oven to 400 Blend dry ingredients together in a bowl
- 1/4 c flax seed
- 3/4 c wheat flour
- 3/4 c white flour
- 1/2 c sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 c finely chopped apples
- 3 TBS vegetable oil
- 1/2 c milk
- 1/2 c chopped nuts (optional)
Bananas Foster

In a large, deep skillet over medium heat, melt butter
- • 1/4 cup butter
- • 2/3 cup dark brown sugar
- • 3 1/2 tablespoons rum
- • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- • 3 bananas, peeled and sliced lengthwise and crossswise
- • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
- • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
Raw Chocolate Pudding

- 1 avocado
- 1/2 ripe banana
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 TBS coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
Broccoli and Cheddar Quiche

Arrange broccoli and cheese in pastry-lined pan
- • Pastry for 10-inch single pie crust
- • 1 1/2 cups chopped broccoli
- • 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
- • 4 eggs
- • 1 1/2 cups cream
- • 1/4 teaspoon salt
- • 1 Dash pepper
- • 1 Dash nutmeg
Breast of Chicken in a Light Lemon Sauce

1. Cut each chicken breast half in half crosswise on a diagonal
- • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 5 oz each)
- • ½ cup fine, dry bread crumbs
- • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- • 3 tbsp. chopped fresh Italian parsley
- • 1½ tsp dried oregano
- • Salt
- • 1 cup dry white wine
- • ½ cup Chicken broth
- • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- • 1 tsp crushed hot red pepper
- • 4 cloves garlic, peeled
Bacon Quiche Lorraine

Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- • 1 Unbaked 9-in pastry shell
- • 8 slices bacon
- • 1/4 c Finely chopped onion
- • 1 1/2 c Shredded cheddar cheese
- • 4 Eggs slightly beaten
- • 1 1/3 c Milk
- • 3/4 t Salt
- • 1/2 t Dry mustard
- • 1/8 t White pepper
- • 1/8 t Ground nutmeg
Pumpkin Pie Pancakes

In a medium bowl, sift the dry ingredients
- • 2 cups flour
- • 4 teaspoons baking powder
- • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- • 3/4 cup sugar
- • 1 1/2 cups cooked and mashed pumpkin
- • 3 eggs
- • 1 cup milk
- • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Spinach-Coconut-Pineapple Smoothie

- Liquid (1/2 water, 1/2 coconut water)
- Large handful of fresh spinach
- A banana
- A few frozen strawberries
- 1/3 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/4 cup organic shredded coconut
- 2 scoops of SP complete
- 1/2 scoop of DFH Whey Protein.
