Green Spicy Tomatoes - Pickled

- 3 lb. green tomatoes
- 3 medium onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped seeded red sweet pepper (1 small)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped,seeded jalapeno peppers (4 small)
- 4 1/2 cups white vinegar
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seeds
- 5 tea. whole black peppercorns
- 2 tea. celery seeds
Beef & Cheese Foldover

Heat oven to375 degrees. Brown meat with onions in large skillet; drain
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. A-1 Steak Sauce
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 2 cups baking mix
- 1 cup Mexican Style Shredded Four cheese
- 1/2 tea. parsley flakes
Hoisin Glazed Shrimp Skewers

Thread shrimp on skewers. Wrap the skewer ends with foil
- 1 lb. raw peeled shrimp
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- sesame seeds

- 1 cucumber, thin sliced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. canola oil
- salt and pepper
Rice Pudding - Baked

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Put six 6-oz
- 2 eggs, plus yolk of 1 egg
- 2 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tea. almond extract
- 1/2 tea. vanilla extract
- 1 pouch (8.8 oz) 90 second microwave long-grain rice
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries, preferably orange flavor
Spanish Rice (with V8 juice)

- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 large green bell pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 oz. white mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 1 1/2 cups V8 juice
- 1 cup chicken broth
- salt
- 1/4 tea. pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 6 plum tomatoes, halved, seeded and diced
BBQ'd Country-Style Pork Ribs

Lightly grease the crockery insert of a 5-6 qt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, pealed
- 1 large apple, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 3 cups apple cider or juice
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- salt and pepper
- 2 lb. country-style pork ribs

- 2 (14 oz) bottles ketchup
- 1 (12 oz) bottle chili sauce
- 1/2 cup mustard
- 1 tea. mustard powder
- 1 tea. salt
- 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. pepper
- 1 (5 oz) bottle steak sauce
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 12 oz. beer
- 2 tea. minced garlic
Asiago Black Pepper Drop Biscuits

- 1/4 tea. black pepper
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. chilled butter, cut into small pieces

- 3/4 cup buttermilk
