Trim fat from beef and pork
- 1 lb. beef flank steak
- 8 oz. lean boneless pork
- 3 cups water
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 tea. sea salt
- 1 lb. uncooked chorizo sausage
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped onion (1 medium)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 lb. ripe tomatoes, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 8 oz. tomatillos, husks removed and thinly sliced
- 1 sprig fresh marjoram
- 1 sprig fresh thyme
- 1/2 tea. dried oregano, crushed
- 1/4 tea. pepper
- 1/4 cup juice from purchased pickled galapeno peppers
- 12 6-7" flour tortillas
Monkey Bread, Pizza

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 tea. Italian seasoning
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 tea. crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 cans (16/3 oz each) large refrigerated flaky biscuits
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 20 slices pepperoni
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- additional marinara sauce, warmed

Cut onions in half crosswise, peel and remove centers leaving 2 or 3 layers of onion
- 6 large onions
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 tea. salt
- 1 1/4 cups bbq sauce

In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini and lemon juice
- 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas/garbanzo beans
- 1/4 cup Tahini (roasted sesame seed paste)
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice, from about 1 large lemon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 tea. salt, or more to taste
- 1/2 tea. ground cumin
- ground paprika as garnish

- 6 (8 oz) wide-mouth canning jars
- 3/4 cup butterscotch caramel topping
- 6 cups torn cinnamon raisin bread, about 10 slices
- 1 Gala apple (about 7 oz) peeled, cut into 1/2" pieces
- 1 1/2 cups half and half
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tea. vanilla
- 1/2 tea. cinnamon
- 1/4 tea. ginger
- 1/4 tea. salt
- 1/8 tea. cloves

- 12 oz. bulk spicy pork sausage
- 5 cups frozen southern-style has browns (from 32 oz bag)
- 1 can (4.5 oz) chopped green chiles, undrained
- 3 cups shredded Colby-Monterey Jack (12 oz)
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 tea. salt
- 1 cup salsa

- 1 (19.5 oz) box chocolate fudge brownie mix, such as Pillsbury
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. creamy peanut butter

- 1/8 tea. salt

In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, 1 Tbsp
- 1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 2 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley, divided
- 1 Tbsp. minced chives
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tea. minced fresh thyme
- 1/4 tea. salt
- 1/4 tea. pepper
- 1 tube (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza crust
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
Spinach Ricotta Stuffed Shells

Heat over to 400 degrees. Set rack in the highest position in the oven
- 20 jumbo shells ( 1/2 of a 12 oz. box)
- 1 24 oz. jar marinara sauce
- 2 - 15 oz. cartons ricotta
- 2 cups chopped fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup grated mozzarella
Snack mix - Spicy Cereal Mix

- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 tea. hot sauce
- 1/2 tea. garlic powder
- 1/2 tea. ground cumin
- 1/2 tea. onion powder
- 1/4 tea. cayenne pepper
- salt
- 3 cups rice cereal squares
- 1 cup cornflakes
- 2/3 cup whole-grain pita chips, broken into small pieces
- 1/2 cup unsalted pepitas (hulled pumpkin seeds)
