Crock Pot Potato Cheese Soup

Ingredients

  • 6 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tsp instant chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 12 oz can evaporated milk

Preparation

Step 1

In 4 qt crockery combine potatoes, water, onion, bouillon, and pepper. Cover. Cook on low for 9-11 hours or high for 4-4 1/2 hours.

Stir in cheese and milk into soup. Cover, cook on low for 1 hour more or high for 30 minutes. Mash potatoes slightly.

Serve.
