Ingredients
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp ground white pepper
- 1 pkg Romaine hearts lettuce
- 1 pint sliced strawberries
- 1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
- 1/2 cup toasted pecans (250 degrees for 10 mins)

Preparation
Step 1
Combine the first 7 ingredients in a jar and shake well. Refrigerate for up to one week. Mix the lettuce, strawberries, cheese, and pecans in a large bowl. Do not add dressing until just before serving.
