BUTTER PECAN PUMPKIN BARS

Ingredients
- BASE:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- FILLING:
- 2 cups pumpkin (16 oz)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- TOPPING:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 TBSP butter, melted
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans

Preparation
Step 1
BASE:
Mix ingredients, press into 8 x 12 pan. Bake in 350° oven for 8-10 minutes until slightly brown. Let cool.
FILLING:
Mix ingredients, pour over cooled crust. Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes, until slightly firm. Cracks will appear on surface. Prepare Topping while baking.
TOPPING:
Mix ingredients, sprinkle over warm pumpkin dish. Return to 350° oven for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool. Store bars in fridge.
