Caramel apple cheesecake
- Graham cracker :
- 1 (21 oz. can) apple pie filling
- 1 1/2 c. crushed graham crackers
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. melted butter
- Cheesecake filling:
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. caramel topping
- pecan halves
- 2 tbsp. chopped pecans
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix crust ingredients and pat into the bottom of greased springform pan.
Pour the apple pie filling onto top of crust.
Mix cheesecake ingredients except eggs. Mix until smooth and then blend in eggs and pour mixture on top of apple pie filling.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until cheesecake is set well in center.
Let cool for 10 minutes and remove ring of springform pan. Cool to room temp and then put into refrigerator. When well chilled drizzle warmed caramel topping on top of cheesecake. Sprinkle lightly with chopped pecans and then put a ring of pecan halves around edge of cheesecake.
