Shoe Peg Corn Casserole
from Russ' mother, Jane Ables Frey Her note said, "Shoe Peg is white and crisp - maybe known as 'Country Gentleman'"
- 1 can french style green beans
- 1 can shoe peg corn
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1/2 can sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Drain beans and corn well and add ingredients mixing well. Pour into casserole dish.
1 stack Ritz crackers, crushed well
1 stick butter, melted
1 small pkg slivered almonds
Mix all these and pour over the casserole. Bake 40 mins at 350
