- 2 cups oats
- 1 cup dried flaked coconut
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- chocolate sauce, warm

Step 1
Mix the oats, coconut and cocoa powder in a bowl. In a saucepan, boil the sugar, butter and milk together while stirring continuously. Once it comes to a boil, turn off the heat and pour over the oat mixture.
Mix well to create a lumpy batter. Use a spoon to drop scoops of the batter on to a tray lined with waxed paper. Bake for about 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees or until the macaroons have solidified. Cool and dip in the warm chocolate. Allow to cool on a sheet lined with wax paper before serving.
