Laura's Strawberry cake

Ingredients

• 1 white cake mix
• 1 pkg strawberry jello
• 1 T. flour
• 4 eggs
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 box frozen, sliced strawberries, thawed
• 3/4 cup oil
• frosting
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 box conf sugar
• 1/2 box frozen strawberries, thawed
• 1/2 t. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

350*..mix cake mix, jello, flour eggs and water.. beat at med speed 2 min. add strawberries with syrup and beat 1 min. add oil and beat 1 min longer.
divide batter between 2 greased and floured 8 or 9 in pans.
bake 35-40 min. cook on rack a bout 10 min. before removing from pans.

frosting
beat butter til smooth.. add sugar alternately with strawberries, including syrup and beat until smooth.. add vanilla..
if frsting is too thick , thin with little milk or cream
