Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 large onion, minced
- 2 ribs celery with tops, minced
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups peeled, cubed raw potatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup minced fresh broccoli
- 1/2 cup cream
- Grated parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter; add onions and celery. Cover and cook over low heat until tender. Blend in flour, add water, potatoes and salt. Stirring bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender about 25 minutes.
Add broccoli and simmer about 10 minutes. Add cream and heat thoroughly.
Serve hot garnished with cheese.
