Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter softened
- 3 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp flat leaf parsley,chopped
- 2 tsp chopped chopped flat leaf parsley
- 1 1/2 tsp finely grated lemon zest
- 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon jc
- 1/2 tsp thyme leaves chopped
- kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- 3 lbs large shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 1 tbsp thinly sliced basil leaves
- crusty bread for serving

Preparation
Step 1
preheat oven to 450. in a medium bowl, mix the butter with the garlic, 2 tsp of the parsley, the lemon zest, lemon jc, and the thyme and season with salt ansd pepper
in a large gratin dish, arrange the shrimp tails up in a ciecular parern. dot the shrinmp with flavored butter and roast for about 10 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and the butter is bubbly. sprinkle shrimp with the remaining 1 tbsp parsley and basil leaves. serve with the bread
