    cup packaged biscuit mix

  • 1

    cup quick-cooking rolled oats

  • 1

    Tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1

    Tbsp brown sugar

  • tsp finely shredded orange peel

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1

    cup milk

  • 2

    Tbsp orange juice

  • ½

    tsp vanilla

  • Orange Honey Syrup

  • 1

    cup granulated sugar

  • ½

    cup water

  • tsp finely shredded orange peel

  • 2

    Tbsp orange juice

  • ½

    cup honey

  • 2

    Tbsp butter or margarine

Directions

Stir together biscuit mix, oats, sugars, and orange peel. Beat together eggs, milk, orange juice, and vanilla with rotary beater. Add egg mixture to flour mixture; stir till blended Let stand 5 minutes. For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup batter onto hot, lightly greased griddle. Cook over medium-low heat about 3 minutes or till golden brown, turning once. Pass hot Orange-Honey Syrup. Garnish with halve orange slices, if desired. Orange-Honey Syrup: In small saucepan, combine sugar, water, orange peel, and orange juice. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Stir in honey and butter, or margarine; bringing to boiling. Remove from heat.
