    inch pie pastry shell

  • 2/3

    c. flour

  • 1/3

    c. brown sugar

  • 1/3

    c. butter

  • 2

    lb. applies

  • 1

    T. lemon juice

  • 2

    T. flour

  • 3/4

    c. sugar

  • Dash salt

  • 1

    t. cinnamon

Directions

Prepare pie shell. For topping: combine flour and sugar in med bowl. With pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in butter until mixture is consistency of coarse cornmeal. Refrigerate. Make filling: core & pare apples. Combine flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Toss lightly with apples. Turn filling into pie shell. Cover with topping. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 to 50 min.
