Caramel Dipped Apples

  • 5 wooden pop sticks
  • 5 medium apples, well dried
  • 1 (14 oz) pkg Kraft carmels
  • 2 tbs water

Preparation

Step 1

Microwave: insert pop sticks into step end of apples, set aside. Heat caramels and water in large microwave safe bowl on high for 2 1/2 to 3 min or until melted and smooth, stirring every minute. Dip apples into melted caramel, spooning caramel over apples to coat. Allow excess caramel to drip off, scraping bottom if necessary. Place on greased wax paper. Let stand 15 minutes.

Conventional oven: Melt caramels and water in heavy saucepan over medium - low heat, stirring frequently until smooth. Continue as directed.
