Ingredients

  • 3 T butter
  • 1 onion chopped
  • sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 c flour
  • 1/4 t salt
  • dash nutmeg
  • 1/4 c parm cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 c shredded swiss cheese
  • 1 can tuna- drained and flaked
  • 1 pkg spinach- drained
  • dry bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

1. melt butter in pan and saute onions and mushrooms till soft.

2. add flour, salt, and nutmeg. cook and stir constantly till bubbly.

3. stir in milk and cook till sauce thickens and bubbles 1 minute. remove from heat.

4. stir in cheese till melted. add tuna.

5. place spinach in bottom of lightly greased baking dish. spoon tuna and cheese mixture over top.

6. top with bread crumbs and parm cheese.

7. bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or till golden.
