Incredibly Easy Classic Blackberry Cobbler

Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 stick butter, cut into little pieces
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Pour the blackberries into an 8x8 inch square baking dish. (I also often use a round, 8-inch diameter ceramic souffle dish).
Mix together sugar, flour, butter, cinnamon and salt with two butter knives. Pour on top of berries and bake for about 50 minutes or until the topping is lightly golden and the berries are bubbling.
Ideally, this should be served warm with vanilla ice cream.
